Vick Chodha

Doctor of Medicine (NY, FL, NC, NJ)

About Me

Dr. Vick Chodha is a board certified adult psychiatrist offering services to residents of New York who are 18 years and older and is also board eligible as a sleep medicine specialist. Dr. Chodha has experience working with individuals who have depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. His philosophy of care is centered on paying attention to a patient’s personal and medical history, listening to them and incorporating an understanding of their experiences into their treatment plan.

Dr. Chodha’s interest in behavioral health began during the rotations of his third year at the Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies where he was exposed to and fascinated by the field of psychiatry. He appreciates the challenges put forth by the uniqueness of every patient and his or her story and a need to account for that when helping them reduce the intensity of what they are experiencing. After completing his residency training in psychiatry from Richmond University Medical Center, Dr. Chodha started working at Baylor College of Medicine as a sleep medicine fellow.

In his personally life, Dr. Chodha enjoys traveling and experiencing all of the different cultures the world offers. He is also a sports fan and is particularly inclined to watch basketball and football. He values being unbiased, having respect and offering support and tries to embody them in the way he lives.
