About Me

Prescribes Medication: No
Age Range: 10+
Roshanda Neal is a licensed professional counselor offering services to residents of Missouri and Illinois over 10 years old. She specializes in child and adolescent therapy and in working with individuals who struggle with relationship issues, parenting issues and women’s issues. While she doesn’t work directly with individuals struggling with substance use, she does work with co-dependents. Roshanda’s philosophy of care stems from her belief that all humans have the power and strength to change their circumstances if they desire to do so. As such, she assists individuals to manifest the answers to their struggles that lie within themselves.
Roshanda was drawn to behavioral health care by the sense of purpose she experiences when helping others to live better lives. She received her Master’s Degree in counseling, passing with distinction as she entered into the work force as a certified school counselor (K-12). After a few years, Roshanda became a licensed professional counselor and has since expanded the age of individuals she can serve to include adults of all ages. Despite this, she still has a soft spot for working with troubled teens and often enjoys using movies, books and music as a part of therapy.
In her personal life, Roshanda loves traveling. She likes to live with integrity, respect and by the golden rule – treat others the way you want to be treated. Her favorite quote is by Mother Theresa: “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”
