About Me

Prescribes Medication: No
Age Range: 12+
Mr. Jerry Cotton II, M.Ed., M.A., is a licensed professional counselor offering services to residents of Missouri ages 12 and older. He specializes in working with individuals who are experiencing life transitions, addictions, mood disorders, difficult organizational behavior or issues with marriage and family. He has clinical experience with working with office leaders/managers, families, divorced and/or single parents, student-athletes, entrepreneurs and couples and he works with them to accomplish their personal and work goals.
Jerry has a client-centered approach to counseling that is holistic and eclectic, energized by the unique and dynamic synergy created when two or more people agree to work together to achieve a common goal. He strives to provide a non-judgmental and compassionate atmosphere in which individuals can safely explore and work through challenges they may face personally, interpersonally, professionally and spiritually in both their conscious or unconscious minds.
In his personal life, Jerry loves to read and has a passion for learning – as exemplified by his three graduate level degrees. He values his faith, family and love and tries to incorporate them in his life by cherishing his relationships with others and the changes that arise from them, both with those he works with and those he shares his life with.
