Age Range: 12+.

Jeni Yarbrough is a licensed clinical social worker offering services to residents of California who are 12 years of age or older. She has clinical interests in working with people who are experiencing LGBT issues, special needs challenges or parenting challenges as well as individuals in the deaf community. Her philosophy of care involves meeting people where they are at, using a strength-based approach to enhance skills that already exist and encouraging individuals to be open minded to new ideas and thought patterns.

Jeni’s interested in behavioral health care began when she acknowledged the universal human need to confide in and seek guidance from another person. She obtained her Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California as a way of acting on her belief that in connecting people to a support system, society as a whole is enhanced. For over four years, she has been passionately driven to be a support person for every person she works with, extending empathy as they gain insight on the parts of themselves and life they struggle with the most. When she isn’t encouraging her clients as they work with her on implementing different strategies in their lives, Jeni enjoys hiking and reading. She has also obtained her scuba license that she tries to use whenever she can.
