Giampaolo Gallo, MD is a board certified psychiatrist offering services to adolescent and adult residents of New York and Pennsylvania. He has a vast array of clinical interests and specializations including mood and anxiety disorders, treatment resistant depression, chronic pain, psychopharmocology and addiction psychiatry. In his practice, Dr. Gallo believes in a personalized approach tailored to an individual’s unique situation. He believes in treating people, not symptoms, and uses a variety of tools including medication, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and supportive psychotherapy to help individuals toward greater well-being. 

Dr. Gallo has always been interested in how the mind, brain and emotions work so pursuing a career in psychiatry was a natural progression.

In his free time, Dr. Gallo enjoys sailing, skiing and spending time outdoors. He was born and raised in Rome, Italy and his love for pasta knows no bounds.

No Show Policy: To ensure that we provide the best care to you, we reserve specific appointment times for our services. This time is only reserved for your appointment. Therefore, we maintain a cancellation policy that includes payment for missed appointments. Should you not give 24 hours notice, or fail to attend an appointment without notice, your credit card will be automatically charged the full rate for the visit. It is $125 for initial sessions and $50 for follow-up sessions. Please be aware that continued missed appointments will lead to discharge.
