Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NJ)
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking, running, yoga, and being outside enjoying fresh air.
I am currently an Outpatient Therapist at The Center For Family Guidance where I see individuals who are seeking help with anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, abuse and life coaching as well as couples and families who are seeking assistance with communication concerns and other types of discord. I see children from the ages of 5, adolescents, and adults.
Prior to my position at The Center For Family Guidance I was employed at a community hospital as a Psychiatric Social Worker where I was responsible for treatment of adults in mental health crisis as well as struggling with substance abuse concerns.
The majority of my experience prior to this time was with children whom had some medical or developmental diagnosis ranging anywhere from failure to thrive to Autism to Fragile X Syndrome.
I received my Master of Social Work degree in May of 2010 from Widener University in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This wonderful experience left me with the knowledge that I would someday be back to the University and I am currently enrolled in their PhD program for Social Work with an anticpated completion date of 2018.
