About Me

I operate from the standpoint that YOU will always be the expert on you - your experiences, your personality, your strengths. My role as a therapist is to help you discover, or re-discover, the inner resources that will help you move forward past the feelings and circumstances that have you down. Everyone needs someone outside themselves at some point to provide a judgment-free, safe place to process, examine, and find the strength to move forward. My goal is to help you be the best YOU that you can be.  My therapeutic approach is a mixture of cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, person-centered and holistic approaches. I help people find practical coping skills and lifestyle changes to take care of themselves in general - your brain does not operate independently from the rest of you! I enjoy helping people tap into their strengths to solve their problems and I try to use a touch of humor along the way.
